Qu'est-ce qu'une liste noire (RBL) ?

Une liste noire RBL (Real-time Blackhole List), également connue sous le nom de DNSBL (DNS-based Blackhole List), est un mécanisme utilisé pour lutter contre le spam en bloquant les e-mails provenant de sources connues pour diffuser des spams. Les RBL sont des bases de données dans lesquelles sont répertoriées les adresses IP jugées responsables de l'envoi de courriers indésirables. Ces listes sont utilisées par les administrateurs de serveurs de messagerie pour filtrer les e-mails entrants, en vérifiant si l'adresse IP de l'expéditeur figure sur une ou plusieurs RBL. Si c'est le cas, le courriel peut être rejeté ou soumis à des vérifications supplémentaires.

Il existe différents types de RBL, chacun ayant ses propres critères pour lister les adresses IP.
